Got Questions

Here is a list of questions that we come across quite a bit. Complete with answers of course.

  1. How do the pedals affix to the surface of the pedal board?
Not to worry, it's quite simple. Each pedal board comes complete with a roll of self adhesive velcro that you can place wherever you would like. This allows for ultimate flexibility of pedal placement, while allowing the beautiful wood finish to show.

  2. Does the Wicked Woody work with pedal risers?
It most certainly does. You can simply use the velcro provided to fasten the risers to the board. However, with the elevated pedal platform, you may not need them. The angle of the platform on the board was designed so that you would have easy access to your top row of pedals. It also makes it easier to see all of your pedals, at one time because they are facing toward you instead of the ceiling.
UPDATE: We have recently designed a product called the Wedgie which is a pedal riser for either your wicked woody pedal board, or any pedal board that you have. Check them out!

  3. What are the available sizes of the pedal boards.
There are currently three sizes available. The Wicked Woody Classic which measures 24" x 15", the Wicked Woody Micro which measures 18" x 15", and of course the Wicked Woody Mondo which measures 32" x 15".
Each of the sizes comes in a few different configurations, and can be assembled left hand or right hand as well.

  4. What about that? What if I want my volume pedal on the other side?
The pedal boards are designed to be reversible. You simply unscrew the top from the bottom, turn it around, and it is reversed! You can also let us know when you purchase a board what side you typically have your volume pedals on, and we will put it together for you.

  5. Does the pedal board include pedal hookups? Power supply?
No, these items are sold separately. You can purchase them from our products page for a complete pedal board package. For patch cables, we recommend Planet Waves, or George L's for the best tone. As far as power supply's go, we recommend either the Dunlop DC Brick, or the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus. Each of these power supply's provides nice clean power, and also fits nicely under the platform for ultimate power distribution.

  6. How about custom finishes for my pedal board?
Funny you should ask. We are currently working with a local custom guitar builder to provide custom finished pedal boards. We will offer a variety of premium finishes, and colors to meet your needs. We think it would be pretty awesome to have a pedal board that matched your guitar, or reflected your personal sense of awesomeness.
